Why are you writing?

I quit writing in my blog last year because nobody was reading it. I have no followers and there are no comments on my blogs now.
Doesn't matter.
I came to realize during my absence that I really enjoy writing and will continue to write even if nobody ever reads any of it again.

I write for me. I don't care if I have any support. I don't care if I get any positive feedback or even any negative feedback.

Because I enjoy writing.

I am not going to go to any trouble to get people to read anything I have written. I don't need to enter popularity contests. I don't need to go on facebook and try and get thousands of friends and try to get them to read my stuff.

I write for me.

If you read my blog and you want to leave a comment, then great.

But, if nobody ever reads it, then that is perfectly fine as well because I enjoy this and will continue.
